YAY Collective
A virtual assistance agency full of brilliant admin, tech and creative experts, proudly headed by me, Mary Lord.
An energetic, refreshing approach to business support meant that YAY quickly grew from a solo vibe to a 18+ strong team that’s helped 65+ business owners get back to doing the work that really moves the needle.
With a knack for asking the right questions exactly when you need to hear them, I live and breathe the life-first approach I’m so driven to help others with. Usually, I’d say “when I’m not working, you’ll see me with a scrunchie, a spicy marg, and a plane ticket to Mexico in hand”; but because of the way I’ve intentionally created YAY, I’ll often do this whilst working (though the marg stays strictly after hours).

We’re firm believers in a ‘life-first’ approach: that is, working out what you want, and plugging it into your business to make it happen (rather than the other way round). It’s not just the way we run our business day-to-day, but YAY’s whole raison d’être: so you can work to live, not live to work.

Don’t get us wrong, we love to chat (and are more than happy to, any time, any place). But we don’t just talk about getting the job done – we actually do it. No-nonsense doesn’t have to be boring..

...and we’ll be the ones to figure it out. An unofficial YAY motto is “it’s not that deep”, by which we obviously mean: we know that running a business is that deep, which is exactly why we know we’ll find a solution for whatever’s blocking or bothering you.
